Maybe, you have been crying for too long, now don't cry;
Maybe, you should sleep awhile and hear the lullaby.
Well then, I shall ask the night owls not to cough,
Frogs not to cry, the cave bats not to fly off.

I won't let the sunlight touch your eyelids now,
I won't let the fresh light breeze brush your eye brows,
No one, Yes, no one shall wake you from your sweet slumber;
I shall open up a pretty umbrella pine for you to sleep under.

Maybe, you like the sound of worms subsoil churning,
Or that of grass-roots softly water siphoning.
Maybe, you like hearing this music -- "tinkling-bell" --
Better than man's quarrelsome words and cursing spell.

Well then, first you must shut both eyes tightly:
Sleep and I shall let you -- Sleep and I shall let you.
I'll cover you with yellow earth lightly,
Let fly, slowly, spiritual paper money too.
